Drake is officially in the summer music conversation. The rapper has released his seventh album Honestly, Nevermind — an album he just annouced a couple of hours ago.
The album, which features 14 tracks, was executive produced by Black Coffee, Noah “40” Shebib, Drake’s manager Oliver El-Khatib, and Noel Cadastre. The album is light with features, with 21 Savage appearing on album closer “Jimmy Cooks.”This new albums only nine months after Drake released Certified Lover Boy, last fall.
Prior to the midnight release, Drake is also launching a SiriusXM radio show titled Table For One where he played the album in full.
Earlier this week, Drake hilariously shared he’d won the championship for his own Sanctuary Basketball League. In a clip that was shared online, he is seen popping a bottle of champagne, comparing himself to Kobe Bryant, and more. His team consisting of himself, Chubbs, and OVO Mark (Team NTIG) won for the third year in a row.
Most recently, he’s appeared on Future’s album I Never Liked You on the heavily streamed single “WAIT FOR U” featuring Tems. The single received a stellar video directed by Director X, Future and Drake starred as knights.
What will be the first video from Honestly, Nevermind? We will soon find out. Check out the album below.
