You probably already know the Drake Curse did not claim the rapper’s beloved Toronto Raptors on Thursday night. Instead, the north-of-the-border squad earned its first NBA Championship against a battered Golden State Warriors, who were down Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson by the end of game 6.
In celebration of his hometown’s first chip, the rapper has released a pair of new singles. His The Best in The World Pack features the haunting and hook-less “Omertà,” which appears to address lingering insecurity over how he faired in a very public beef with Pusha T. Last year, the Clipse rapper outed Drake as a father on the scathing diss track, “The Story of Adidon.” The pack’s second track, “Money in The Grave,” features a quick guest verse from Rick Ross.
Hear both “Omertà” and “Money in The Grave” below.
