Drake showed up and showed out at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards Wednesday night (May 2).
The artist took home 12 awards last night— including top male artist, top streaming songs artist, top rap artist, and top rap album— bringing his total to 27.
Not only did he break Taylor Swift’s record for most wins, but he shouted out America’s real sweetheart: Arya Stark.
The “Going Bad” rapper mentioned the famed Game of Thrones character during his acceptance speech for Top Billboard 200 Album for Scorpion, saying, “Shout out to Arya Stark for putting in that work last week.”

“27 Billboard Awards… so floored can’t even really register it.”
In another speech, Drake also thanked his mother, saying, “No matter how long it took me to figure out what I wanted to do, you were always there to give me a ride and now we’re all on one hell of a ride.”
