There's A Countdown on Donald Glover's Website...What Could It Be?

The countdown strikes zero on Sunday evening.

It's been a weird couple of months for Donald Glover. In the first week, he settled a dispute with his former record label Glassnote Records over unpaid royalties.

Last Friday, FX postponed filming for his hit series Atlanta, one of four FX shows affected by coronavirus concerns. The following weekend, the actor/comedian/rapper released a surprise mixtape...only to remove it from the internet about 24 hours later. Additionally, he and Adidas Originals formally ended their partnership of nearly two years.

Could more music be arriving soon? On Friday evening, XXL pointed out that a countdown appeared on DonaldGloverPresents.com, the webpage that previously held the untitled project. It would be easy to assume that the removal was on accident and that Glover's re-uploading the project to his webpage after fixing the bug.

Glover has given out no additional information about the impending release and has yet to comment. Should he re-release the project, it'd be his first full-length release since 2016's Awaken, My Love!

Glover has yet to address plans for the new project or reasons for its removal from his website. Awaken, My Love! was nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album and Album of the Year at the 60th Grammy Awards. Stay posted for further updates about the project, as well as the newest season of Atlanta on FX.
