The announcement follows a no-show for his headlining set at Def Jam's  35th-anniversary last week.

DMX will be taking some time from the road to focus on his sobriety and health.

The rapper announced on Instagram (see below) that he'd canceled the remaining dates of his tour and checked back into rehab (following a 2017 stint for substance abuse,) citing an "ongoing commitment to putting family and sobriety first" and thanking his fans for their support.

After completing a year-long prison sentence for tax evasion in January, the rapper told GQ he was excited to work on new music, hoping to release an album in the near future. From there, the Mt. Vernon rapper launched a tour celebrating the 20th-anniversary of his debut album, It's Dark and Hell Is Hot, but failed to appear at a handful of performances. And last week, he was a no-show for his headlining set at Def Jam's 35th-anniversary party.
