In the wake of what has been a tumultuous year, Damian Marley has returned with his first single of the year. On Wednesday, Marley dropped “Life is a Circle,” the first single from his label, Ghetto Youth International’s upcoming compilation album Set Up Shop, Vol. 4. The album features appearances from Chronixx, Busy Signal, and more. View the full tracklist below.
The star-studded compilation hits digital streaming platforms at midnight. For the first time, Jr. Gong’s collaboration with Kabaka Pyramid, “Kontraband Pt. 2,” will be available to stream. The track originally appeared on the critically-acclaimed Immaculate mixtape. All in all, the compilation looks to be “one of the very best exponents of the original reggae sound.”
“A great reggae song can be a laid back groove, spiritual meditation, conscious message, social commentaries or a celebration,” the label said in a release. “A great compilation flows unitedly as either a single notion, or takes the listener on a journey such as with Set Up Shop, Vol. 4.”
Stream Set Up Sho, Vol. 4 as the clock strikes midnight on Thursday.
