Watch Kendrick Lamar Join SZA & Vince Staples For Coachella Performances
Kendrick Lamar was brought out by SZA and Vince Staples to perform tracks from CTRL, Big Fish Theory and Black Panther: The Album.
Haven’t watched the official 2018 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival livestream, yet? You should because then you’d see what you can also see below: Kendrick Lamar proving that he’s one of the top performers of the day. The Compton kingpin was brought out twice during last night’s Coachella opening by his TDE cohort, SZA, and fellow West Coast MC, Vince Staples.
The former performed the standout Ctrl track “Doves in the Wind” and their Black Panther: The Album collab “All the Stars.” SZA also brought out Isaiah Rashad (for “Pretty Little Birds”) and Trippie Redd (for “Dark Knight Dummo”), which can be viewed in full via the livestream.

Staples, however, had a lot of people talking after his set Friday night after the 24-year-old creative dropped two bombshells on the Coachella viewing public. Performing on Coachella’s main stage, which he called the “white people stage,” Vince let the crowd know exactly how he felt, saying, “I know y’all don’t know who I am ‘cause none of y’all look like me, but I don’t give a f**k.”
As he came to the conclusion of his set, Staples brought out Kendrick Lamar for a performance of “Yeah Right,” off his 2017 album Big Fish Theory. Many in attendance and watching the livestream from the comfort of their home characterized the Indio, California audience as “dry” on Twitter, and rightfully so, they only spazzed out for the artists and acts that they knew more than one song for. So, when Kung-Fu Kenny came out, the crowd lost their mind when he appeared onstage.
