The album is titled Big Day Out and will be released on July 26. The album has been available for pre-order but its title and release were unknown until now. Big Day Out serves as the follow-up to 2016’s Coloring Book. Chance had hinted at the new album back in February when he revealed that he would be dropping a new project in July.
“I got real famous so I gotta lotta eyes on me that wasn’t fans of me they just fans of whats popular. My first album is for my fans,” he had tweeted at the time. “I’ll always be immensely proud of what I did with Coloring Book. Same Drugs, Summer Friends and Juke Jam are some the realest songs I’ve ever written so u dont have to defend Coloring Book to me. It happened, it made history but I did it already. The album wont be acid rap either.”
In related news, Acid Rap and 10Day, Chance’s first two projects released in 2013 and 2012, respectively, were recently made available on music streaming services.
