Cardi B Unleashes On Kay Flock’s “Shake It” Remix

After releasing video teasers last week, Kay Flock, Dougie B and Bory300, Cardi B take it back to the Bronx on the “Shake It” remix.

On the “Shake It” remix with Kay Flock, Dougie B and Bory 300, Cardi B proves that she’s never left her Bronx roots. Although Flock is currently serving time at Rikers Jail on a charge of first degree murder, on Friday, the “Shake It” remix was released, featuring a sample of Akon‘s 2004 song “Bananza (Belly Dancer).”

In the accompanying music video, Cardi dons a red bandana-print wig while joined by Dougie B and Bory300 and Bronx residents City Island’s Firehouse deli in celebration of the “Shake It” remix. The video also includes a a mural of Kay Flock along with cameos from his friends and family.

“Shake It” marks Flock’s newest single since the release of his debut project The D.O.A. Tape last November. In December, the rapper was arrested on the charge of first-degree murder, accused of  shooting and killing a 24-year-old man Oscar Hernandez in Harlem on December 16, according to New York Daily News.

On Thursday, Essence Magazine unveiled the cover of their 52nd anniversary issue, which features Cardi, her husband Offset, their children Kulture and newest son Wave Set Cephus along with Jordan, Kody, and Kalea, Offset’s children from previous relationships.

Earlier in the day, Offset and Cardi to social media to reveal the name of their new son.

“It’s a blessing to be able to have them all together, and to have a wife who’s open and treats them as if they’re her kids,” Offset said about the couple’s blended family. “It could be an issue, but I don’t have to go through that, and that’s beautiful.”
