Cardi B Thanks Haters At iHeartRadio Music Awards, Teases Album Date

Cardi B would like to thank her haters.

While picking up her award for Best New Artist at the iHeartRadio Awards Sunday night,  Cardi Brevealed her debut album is slated for release this April.

After running through a list of people she was thankful for,  the "Bodack Yellow" rapper used her acceptance speech to keep fans privy to what she has in store next, all while keeping her "haters" in check.

"I'm going to thank a lot of people because a lot of people helped me with my success," she said, purring her signature "OKurrr." "I want to thank my publicist, Patience, I want to thank my team, Pardison and Ev, I want to thank Atlantic, I want to thank my family... I wanna thank my man," she continued. "I want to thank my fans, Bardi Gang, because, ’cause even when I'm wrong they be like, 'She still right.' And I want to thank my haters too because they be downloading my stuff so they could hear it and talk crap about it but it benefits me. My album will be coming in April, OKurrr. Yessir. April. Stay tuned, muthaf... ow!"

Cardi opened the show with a with a performance of a medley of her hits, including "Bartier Cardi," "Bodack Yellow," and "No Limit" with a guest appearance from G-Eazy, as well as her verses from Migos’ "Motor Sport" and Bruno Mars’ “Finesse Remix.” Bruno recently announced that Bardi will be joining him on his 24K Magic World Tour kicking off in September.

Along with winning Best New Artist. Cardi also won Best New Hip-Hop Artist and received several more nominations. Earlier this year, the rapper was nominated for two Grammys— Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance— for her breakout single “Bodak Yellow.”
