Burna Boy just dropped a surprise EP.
The Nigerian superstar joined forces with Los Angeles production duo DJDS for the project entitled Steel & Copper.
The four-track EP sees Burna transition to mostly hip-hop sound, honing in on the one layer of his normal rap/reggae/afrobeat/afropop genre fusion. But its no tough feat for the adept agile African Giant, who recently stopped by Beats 1 for an interview with Ebro Darden.

The release comes ahead of the premiere afrofusion artist’s North American tour kicking off April 1st, that includes a stop at Coachella as well as New York’s iconic Apollo Theater on April 5th.
Last month, Burna released the striking music video for his Kel P-produced single “Dangote.” Burna’s critically acclaimed album, Outside ranked no. 11 on Okayplayer’s Best Albums of 2018 list, and his hit single, “Ye” was ranked the best song of 2018.
