The partnership is between Roc Nation and Island Records, who will handle distribution.

Roc Nation has added another legend to its roster. Reggae/dancehall giant Buju Banton has reached a partnership with the label, according to a press release. Island Records will handle distribution.

Roc Nation co-presidents Shari Bryant and Omar Grant spoke about the new deal. “It’s an honor to work with a legend and trailblazer of Buju’s caliber – His music catalog is simply unparalleled.”

Additionally, Banton shared his new singles “Trust” and “Steppa.”

The two tracks are his first official releases since being released from prison this past December. The new visual for “Steppa” follows Buju’s Long Walk To Freedom tour, in which he headlined Jamaica’s prestigious National Stadium.
