Beyoncé Is Officially the Most Awarded Artist in Grammy History

Winning the Best Dance/Electronic Album for Renaissance, Beyoncé has received the most Grammy Awards of any artist.

Beyoncé has made history yet again. During the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, the Renaissance artist became the most-awarded artist in Grammy history, after winning the Best Dance/Electronic Album award, With 32 wins to date, a tearful Bey came to the stage after being announced as winner, thanking God, her late Uncle Jonny, husband and occasional collaborator JAY-Z and the queer community for being originators of the dance genre.

Earlier in the evening, the singer-songwriter, 41, won three categories including Best R&B Song (“Cuff It”), Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Plastic Off the Sofa”) and Best Dance/Electronic Recording (“Break My Soul”). Beyoncé has now won at least one Grammy for each of her solo albums.

On Instagram, Bey gave props to her co-collaborators on all three songs, like Big Freedia, The-Dream, Tricky Stewart, Nile Rodgers, Raphael Saddiq, Syd, Sabrina Claudio and more.

“It feels great to be honored for the vocal performance,” Bey wrote. “Thank you for all the talented vocalists who killed those beautiful TikTok renditions.”

Over the weekend, Bey dropped “Cuff It (Wetter Remix),” which samples Twista’s 2009 song “Wetter.” Also on Sunday, presale tickets in the Group A tier for Bey’s long-awaited Renaissance World Tour became available, but Ticketmaster announced that due to high demand, there would be a waitlist and access codes for selected fans.

On Friday (January 3), the Senate Judiciary Committee issued a warning to Ticketmaster to avoid a disaster à la Taylor Swift’s pre-sale for The Eras Tour.
