Meanwhile, Robert Glasper rallied his own jazz misfits and masters for the surprise Fuck Yo Feelings mixtape, featuring Herbie Hancock, Chris Dave, Yasiin Bey, Bilal and more. billy woods‘ is two-for-two in 2019 with the winding and cinematic, Terror Management.

But the singles side of the week is just as potent. Channel Tres delivers an entrancing Tyler, The Creator-sanctioned house edit of “EARFQUAKE.” Anna Wise offers another glimpse at her upcoming full-length debut with the glistening, Denzel Curry-assisted, “Count My Blessings.” Klassik and Saba deliver a sobering, slightly-swung send-up with “Noise.” Kumail and Pink Siifu are lo-fi rap kings on “Same Shit.” And a batch of purple-crushed gems from Samantha Urbani, Diamond Cafe, Slow Hollows, and Sam O.B., respectively, are tailor-fit for the dance floor. But that’s just half the script.
