Happy Release Day, good people. And a righteous penultimate Friday of the year unto you and yours. With the holidays just around the corner and most of the internets shifting into year-and-decade-end recap mode (us included,) there are only a few more days until the auto-responses go up. So let's get to these drops while we still can.

Light on the long-plays, this week's album releases span rap's many shades and creeds. From 9th Wonder's massive 46-track instrumental project, Zion IV, to Alchemist and Boldy James' gritty, Boldface EP, to Roc Marciano's finally-cleared-for DSPs, Marcielago, there's plenty of heat to hold you over, even if next week's a bust.

On the singles side, 19-year-old NYC rapper, MIKE, returns with yet another drawled display. Kota The Friend chimes in with a jetset indie rapper manifesto.
