Now An All-Time Terrible Best Producers List Has Surfaced

Please, for the love of God, make it stop.

Following that terrible best rappers list that resulted in everyone from Mike Tyson to Magic Johnson creating their own lists, there's now a list dedicated to the best producers. And, like that initial best rappers list, it is also terrible.

The 50 best producers list was shared by Timbaland on his Instagram (the producer didn't create the list though) with the following caption: "Your thoughts!!!!! I think this list needs to b re-evaluated."

The list is a mix of both old and new producers and primarily caters to rap producers. There are some reasonable selections on there (Timbaland is listed along with Pharrell, Diddy, Kanye West, Rick Rubin and others). But some people have called out the ranking of certain producers on the list as well as producers who aren't even on the list that they feel deserve to be on it.

The list has since made its way on Twitter via a post from Hot 97, where they credited the list as Timbaland's (even though it's not his).

Since then, people have offered their own thoughts on who else deserves to be on the list, noting that producers like DJ Premier, RZA, Mannie Fresh and others were missing from it.

Hopefully this doesn't lead to an onslaught of best producers lists but, as we've seen the best rappers list, it's probably going to happen.
