A$AP Rocky‘s Sweden assault case saga has come to an end.
According to a report in CNN, Swedish prosecutors decided not to appeal the conditional sentence for assault handed to the rapper earlier this month. This ultimately means Rocky will avoid a harsher ruling and he won’t be serving any additional jail time related to the case.

On Tuesday (August 27), Prosecutor Daniel Suneson said he had decided not to mount a challenge after determining it was not clear whether or not Rocky and two members of his team used bottles as a weapon during the street scuffle on June 30. “I have accepted the District Court’s evaluation of the evidence, in as much as the use of whole or broken bottles during the assault has not been proven,” Suneson said in a statement. “After due consideration, I have chosen not to appeal the verdict.”
Suneson said all three defendants have been brought to justice.
On Wednesday, Rocky released the video for “Babushka Boi,” his first song since the Sweden incident, which featured a scene of him behind prison bars.
