Rising spitter Armani White teams with celebrated left-of-center beat god Sángo on the collaborative single “Casablanco Freestyle.” The hard-hitting track from the forthcoming full-length project by the Philadelphia-bred, L.A. transplant follows the recent release of his lead single “Public School,” which just passed the 100K stream mark on Spotify. For Sángo, the single is a proper follow-up to his 2018 album In The Comfort Of, which boasts features from JMSNXavier OmärJesse Boykins III and Smino. Blanco describes how the collaboration materialized after a chance meeting backstage:

“Me and Kai played at a festival last summer and hit it off backstage. We’d been emailing songs back and forth and this one stuck! While making music like this is foundational and elemental for me, the music that’s part of project doesn’t sound much like this at all. this is my closing off on freestyle records for a bit” – Armani White

Combining their respective sounds, the pair delivers an 808-heavy slapper punctuated by ominous, atmospheric percussion and monstrous keys. Armani White’s signature rapid-fire delivery rounds out the track with a flurry of bars that offer clear evidence of his staggering verbal dexterity and natural aptitude for emceeing.
