Anna Wise Announces Month-Long Residency Shows in Brooklyn
This Thursday, February 2nd, Anna Wise will commence a new month-long residency right here in The Republic of Brooklyn. And she's bringing some friends out for the party. Wise, whose The Feminine: Act 1 marked a pointed and brilliant solo debut last year, has been known to throw down with locals in her BK stomping grounds over the last few years, splitting time as Kendrick Lamar collaborator and experimental r&b maven in her own right.
The residency will take place at C'mon Everybody in Bed-Stuy on Franklin Ave. between Clifton and Greene Ave. Each night will feature the talents of another guest performer, starting with Deradoorian in the first installment, following with Zenizen, Madison McFerrin and Salt Cathedral in subsequent weeks.
