In particular, Anderson .Paak dropped details about the features on his album. Features on Oxnard include Q-Tip, Snoop Dogg, Pusha-T, and Dr. Dre.

Oh and there’s Kendrick Lamar, who appears on the hit “Tints.” Speaking about how that song came about, .Paak said that he sent it to Kendrick and it took him a “year-and-a-half” to send his verse back. Paak said, “I almost lost hope.” Paak added that he was happy with the finished product.

Paak also talked about how he got J. Cole on the album. Cole talked to Dr. Dre, who mastered the album, and he set it up:

It was unfinished, so I needed something. He was in town when I was working on it— I was wrapping it up. And I was like, ‘if you around pull up.’ And he pulled right up.
