Ali Shaheed Muhammad & Adrian Younge Bring their 'Midnight Hour' Sounds to NPR's 'Tiny Desk'

The Midnight Hour head to the NPR offices

Earlier in the year, A Tribe Called Quest's Ali Shaheed Muhammad and producer Adrian Younge joined forces and formed The Midnight Hour.

In June, the two put out their excellent self-titled debut album. The album features appearances from the likes of Questlove, Bilal, Raphael Saadiq, Marsha Ambrosius, Eryn Allen Kane, and more.

The Midnight Hour were the latest guests on NPR's excellent Tiny Desk series. Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge were joined by a six-piece band. The duo performed four songs: "Black Beacon" "There is No Greater Love," "Bitches Do Voodoo," and "Mission."
