A$AP Rocky & 21 Savage Both Had Issues at Rolling Loud New York 2022

A$AP Rocky apologized for holding a short set at Rolling Loud New York this weekend, while 21 Savage did not perform as expected.

Despite high energy surrounding Nicki Minaj's headlining performance at Rolling Loud New York over the weekend, a fellow headlining slot from A$AP Rocky fell short. The rapper was expected to perform at 8:55 as a closing performer on Saturday (September 24), but he reportedly hit the Fashion Nova stage around 9:45. Only able to perform two songs – also jumping into the crowd – Rocky's set ended at 10 PM to boos.

Sources tell TMZ that Rocky's set was pulled due to a noise ordinance that organizers wanted to uphold. The next afternoon, Rocky went to social media to give an apology to fans.

“I also want to acknowledge that even tho I prepared the best show for my fans, detail for detail , over the course of MONTHS… I was unfortunately not able to bring my vision to fruition and Im hurt about that and I want to apologize to all of my fans and continued supporters, and thank y’all for showing up for me regardless!! A$AP4EVA," he wrote.

Also slated to perform at the festival on Sunday (September 25) before final headliner Future was 21 Savage, but his set was also cancelled before he could hit the stage. Big Sean and Ski Mask the Slump God were also amongst artists who didn't perform at Rolling Loud New York.

21 Savage quickly tweeted that the festival could never have him as a performer again.

The next Rolling Loud is scheduled to take place in California from March 3-5, 2023.
