One in a Million and Aaliyah will likely be hitting streaming services soon.

Tuesday, August 25 marked the 19th anniversary of the tragic death of pop star Aaliyah. The Detroit-raised singer's uncle, producer Barry Hankerson, owns the masters to each of her albums besides her debut. As a result, her two most popular albums, One in a Million and the self-titled Aaliyah aren't on streaming services.

On Tuesday, Aaliyah's family estate announced that her catalog will arrive on streaming services sooner than later. Stay tuned for further updates.

"We are excited to announced that communication has commenced between the estate and various labels about the status of Aaliyah's music catalogue," the estate said in a statement. "As well as its availability on streaming platforms in the near future. Thank you for your continued love and support. More updates to come."

Aaliyah's debut album, Age Ain't Nothing but a Number, is available on streaming services, however the project is controversial, given the fact all of its songs except one were written and produced by R. Kelly. Her sophomore effort, One in a Million, features production from Timbaland, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, Jermaine Dupri, and more. The album was certified two-times platinum in June 1997.

Longtime collaborator Missy Elliott paid tribute to Aaliyah on Tuesday. "Your music has always been 10 steps ahead," she wrote. "And your sound is still futuristic.
