UPDATE: A Tribe Called Quest's "major announcement" is a capsule collection with Pharrell's Billionaire Boys Club clothing line.

The hip-hop group made the reveal on Instagram, revealing the collection's name, The Space Program (a reference to one of the tracks from their album We Got It from Here...Thank You 4 Your Service), as well as announcing that a short film with the same name would be released soon. The film will premiere exclusively on Apple Music.

A Tribe Called Quest has taken to social media to tease a "major announcement" that'll be revealed on Monday, March 5.

"Major ATCQ Announcement on Monday. Stay Tuned..." the caption reads on the group's Instagram account.

Fans took to the comments to voice what they think the announcement will be, with some speculating it's a tour while others think it's Phife Dawg's posthumous album Give Thanks. The album was originally announced for 2017 but is still unreleased.

Since Phife's death on March 22, 2016, members of the rap group have offered different statements on its future. In December 2016, Q-Tip said that "another incarnation" of A Tribe Called Quest was in the works during an appearance on BBC 1. However, both Tip and Jarobi White said that We Got It from Here...Thank You 4 Your Service was the group's final album. Along with that, Tip also said that ATCQ's final performance was their headlining set at Bestival in Dorset, England.

Late last year, Tip spoke out on Thank You 4 Your Servicebeing snubbed by the Grammys.

"We were the most black, cultured group out. That's all we stood on. That's what we represented," he said in a series of Instagram posts. "I'm sick of y'all f**kin' Grammy ni**as, man. Y'all get us get out there to perform last year and close and shit, and y'all don't get us no fucking nominations?"
