A week has passed since the tragic loss of Mobb Deep‘s Prodigy, who died last week as the age of 42. In the days since, the pioneering Queens MC has been tributed and saluted by the full ranks of hip-hop’s living torchbearers.

But later this week, a full public memorial will be held in NYC in Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel at 1076 Madison Avenue this Thursday, June 29th. Those that wish to pay respect to the late legend can stop by between the hours of 2pm and 5pm for the public visitation. It’s unclear whether family and friends will be in attendance or reserve their words for a private funeral.

Safe to say the whole bedrock of hip-hop his shook, so if you do attend and happen to see someone in mourning, offer some respect and be mindful of the space. Memorials are no time to run up on a grieving relative or loved one.
