The celebrated producer, 9th Wonder, took to Twitter to share some not-so-subtle secrets about Rapsody’s new album, Laila’s Wisdom.

Day two after playing Laila’s Wisdom on repeat has not lessened the new car smell of this wonderfully crafted project. In my opinion (and who am I, right?!) — Laila’s Wisdom is one of the best albums of 2017… but that’s a discussion for another time. In fact, all eyes should be on 9th Wonder as the Jamla head honcho and superstar hip-hop producer has been giving up rare gems via his Twitter page all afternoon.

As Rapsody continues to bask in all the rightfully deserved love and appreciation for her Roc Nation debut album, 9th has been teasing quite a few things that make us want to experience them now, live and in living color. Released in spurts, 9th shared with his 410K followers that he has stored in the stash alternate versions of standout songs, “Power,” “A Rollercoaster Jam Called Love,” “U Used 2 Love Me,” and the album’s invocative intro, which samples Aretha Franklin.

How, when and if these tracks will ever seen the light of day is up to 9th, the Jamla team and Rapsody. But we would love to hear this on a limited edition vinyl collection or just as loosies to celebrate certain musical milestones (cop Laila’s Wisdom here). Either way, you have to agree that it is pretty cool to get some behind-the-scenes peek at the creative process over at JamRoc.
