20 New Hip-Hop & R&B Albums You Should Be Listening To (Week of June 18)

This week’s batch of new albums includes bonus tracks from the Migos, a hip-hop supergroup, and many more.

Every week in the music industry comes with new albums from fresh new faces, old favorites, and a combination of both. There’s new EPs, deluxe editions for brand-new albums, re-issues of classic albums, and bold new group projects from longtime collaborators and new friends as well. It can get a bit overwhelming.

With that in mind, we here at Okayplayer want to make the search for new music easier. That’s why every week, we round up the best projects for you to look out for. This time around, we’ve got full-length releases from H.E.R., DonMonique, and R&B newcomer Dee Gatti. The Migos return (after returning last week) with the Culture III deluxe edition. Aesop Rock’s Appleseed EP finally hits streaming services, while Canibus, Ras Kass, Killah Priest, and Kurupt reunite as the HRSMN for The Last Ride.
