We’ve always got our ears to the ground, so without further ado, we’re pleased to share our latest New Music Friday selects. This week we’ve rounded up more than a few hip-hop options, and we also did a bit of digging to find some indie R&B acts you should definitely keep an eye on.
First up, we fell deeply in love with Los Angeles singer Phabo’s brilliant debut album Soulquarius. Also out today is Willow’s highly anticipated album, Lately I Feel Everything. On this release which is deeply inspired by rock acts of the ‘00s, she’s joined by Tierra Whack, Avril Lavigne and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album, Faith is also out today and it’s stacked with a bevy of features: Kanye West, Pusha T, 21 Savage, 42 Dugg, Future, Takeoff and more. A$AP Ant and DJ Nick also decided to bless their fans with a new mixtape titled Enter The Infantry Vol. 2. LVRN signee OMB Bloodbath also dropped a new project, Blood Sample.
Additional staples for the week include Cakes da Killa’s newest release Muvaland Vol. 2 which is a damn good listen, WesWill’s EP Open 24 Hours, and Your Grandparents’ debut album Thru My Window.
