One of the most iconic X-Men storylines, The Dark Phoenix Saga, is coming to theaters next year.

The production company 20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for Dark Phoenix, the fourth movie in the never-ending X-Men series. The trailer was premiered on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday (September 27th.)
In the trailer, we see what happens when one of the X-Men’s own, Jean Gray (played by Sophie Turner) turns evil. In the trailer we see all of the favorites from the previous movies return, including Professor X (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence).

The movie will be based on the 1980 Dark Phoenix comics, where Jean Gray absorbs the powers of a cosmic force and becomes the Dark Phoenix.
Dark Phoenix, which was written and directed by newcomer Simon Kinberg, comes out on February 14th 2019. Check out the first trailer below.
