Woody Harrelson is All In on the 'White Men Can't Jump' Remake with Jack Harlow

While speaking with Yahoo! Entertainment, Woody Harrelson gave his approval to the White Men Can't Jump remake with Jack Harlow.

The White Men Can't Jump remake has a believer in Wood Harrelson. With filming currently underway, the remake stars Jack Harlow, Teyana Taylor, Lance Reddick and Laura Harrier.

To promote his new film The Man From Toronto, which costars Kevin Hart, Woody Harrelson spoke with Yahoo! Entertainment about the White Men Can't Jump reboot, giving Harlow the stamp of approval.

“I feel great [about it],” he said during their Zoom chat. “I think Jack’s probably gonna crush it. They’re gonna make a better movie than we made. I’m looking forward to watching it.”

Directed by music video filmmaker Calmatic, and with NBA star Blake Griffin set to produce, Harlow will take on Harrelson’s role as Billy Hoyle, but it's currently unknown whether the film will keep Hoyle’s name. According to Deadline, Harlow's first screen audition was impressive enough for him to be offered the role on the spot.

Harlow appeared at The MET Gala last month where he admitted that prior to landing the role, he never watched the original White Men Can't Jump.

“Can I be honest,” Harlow told Vogue. “I was obviously familiar with it, it’s an iconic title and I’ve seen the movie poster, but I didn’t watch it until I got offered the role. I see why it’s a classic.”

The originalreleased in 1992 and starred Wesley Snipes, Woody Harrelson, Rosie Perez and more.
