Showtime’s presidents of entertainment Gary Levine and Jana Winograde announced their renewal of Desus and Mero Thursday afternoon (November 21). “Desus and Mero have been a fantastic addition to the Showtime family,” Winograde said in a statement. “Desus and Mero bring an entirely new perspective on late-night programming and we can’t wait to see where they shine that light in 2020.”
The duo made their Showtime debut February 21, 2019, after two years with Viceland and a year with Complex TV. The pair still host the fan-favorite Bodega Boys podcast. Subsequently, the premiere episode scored over 150,000 viewers.
The Desus and Mero Season 1 finale will air tonight at 11 p.m. EST.
