You already know what it is.
It’s the end of May so it’s time for yet another Memes Rule Everything Around Me, and what better meme to start off with other than this video clip featuring Drake?
The clip, which comes from CityNews Toronto, finds Drake offering a quick quote following the Toronto Raptors’ win Thursday night.
“Look around, look around you, look at this,” Drake says in the clip. “We created this. This didn’t exist before we were here. Look around at the square, I promise you right now we did this. Doesn’t matter what anybody says — they could say it’s disrespectful, they could say it’s this and that and that. Everybody is within the rules, everybody’s doing their thing. All we are is proud and passionate.”
Since the clip making its way on social media, the first several seconds of the video have gone viral and used for a number of different captions.

Drake has been in headlines for his antics at recent Raptors games. He appeared to yell the word “trash” at Golden State player Draymond Green as he exited the basketball court with the rest of the team following their game against the Raptors Thursday. He also sported a throwback Dell Curry Raptors jersey. Dell, Steph Curry‘s father, played for the Raptors from 1999 to 2002. Drake and Curry had an exchange during the game, with the rapper picking something out of Curry’s hair. He then took to Instagram to make a joke about it.

Following Drake is Playboi Carti‘s baby voice flow, which has popped up on guest features for Solange and Tyler, the Creator. The baby voice came to a head when Carti’s guest appearance on Young Nudy‘s “Kid Cudi / Pissy Pamper” became viral, as the unreleased song took on a life of its own as fans transformed Carti’s verse into a full track. This led to the creation of countless memes dedicated to the track.

But some other memes have come about related to other songs Carti has used his baby voice flow on, like Tyler’s “Earfquake.”

Speaking of babies, Snapchat’s baby filter has helped birth new memes involving the likes of Stephen A. Smith, Charles Barkley, and Shaquille O’Neal.

This most notable of these is Smith, with fans applying the baby filter to the sports television personality as he goes on different rants and argues with people like LaVar Bell.

Even ESPN created a “The best of Baby Stephen A. Smith” compilation.
Since then, Smith has responded to the memes on Twitter. Using the baby filter on himself, the sports commentator proceeded to speak on people transforming him into baby with a temper tantrum.

“Y’all really need to stop with these baby face memes,” Smith says before breaking into laughter. “It’s funny, I gotta admit, it’s funny. “I don’t have a son, but I will tell you, it’s hilarious. It’s funny. I’m glad everyone’s enjoying it — I know I’m enjoying it.”
Another notable meme that has come about this month is courtesy of Twitter user @PubbyLongway. His voiceovers synchronized to different videos of food being prepared have gone viral, LePub providing a commentary that is undeniably hilarious.
