Taken this past weekend, the video shows Paul Lawson saying the N-word while drinking a lime-a-rita. Ultimately, a group of people swarm him and push him off the train when it makes a stop. When he tries to get back on you can see someone throw a cup of soup at his direction.
Well, that person turned out to be New York’s Destiny Frasqueri, otherwise known as artist Princess Nokia.
“And yes I threw hot soup in this man’s face and kicked him off off the train, and kicked in the face. Any other racists wanna try us again,” the rapper wrote on her Twitter.
Prior to that, Nokia recounted how the incident transpired in a string of tweets.
According to a report from the New York Daily News, Lawson, who claimed to have attended NYU Law School during the incident, never attended the school at all. A spokeswoman for the school said they had no record of Lawson ever being a student there.
