Watch Doja Cat Cover Hole in Taco Bell Super Bowl Commercial

Taco Bell puts Doja Cat in the driver’s seat in a new ‘Live Más’ commercial that will air during the Super Bowl.

Doja Cat is living ‘Live Más’ in a new Taco Bell commercial. “The Grande Escape” ad follows Doja as she flees clown college and takes playful jabs at fast food rivals. Tearing off her clown costume, Doja liberates from conformity, escaping clown college with passengers clown college in pursuit of discovering ‘Live Más’.

Set to air during the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl, the commercial also premieres a reworked version of 1998 Hole track “Celebrity Skin”, which Doja performed. Taco Bell also released a behind-the-scenes clip of Doja recording “Celebrity Skin” with lyrics reworked in partnership with Hole front-woman Courtney Love. On Friday, Doja released the Hole cover to streaming services.

“It’s no secret I’m a major Taco Bell fan which has made my role with this campaign all the more fun,” said Doja said in a press release. “I’ve enjoyed every moment of this campaign, especially the ones where we get to break all the rules, and look forward to continuing collaborating with the brand.”

Doja will join multiple celebrity endorsements during the Super Bowl, including a spot from André 3000 and Zendaya to Will Smith. The ‘Live Más’ ad is one of many Taco Bell music-partnering initiatives as part of their Feed the Beat music program. “The Grande Escape” makes Doja’s second commercial appearance after paying homage to the musical film Grease in a PepsiCo commercial last year.

Doja has continued her rollout of her third studio album Planet Her, releasing a futuristic visual for “Get Into It (Yuh)” last week. Check out her version of “Celebrity Skin” below.
