Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Sterling K. Brown & More Must Survive In New ‘Predator’ Trailer
This ain’t your grandpappy’s Predator, as you’ll find out when watching Shane Black’s new red band trailer for his sci-fi, horror-action flick.
Check it out, ‘Murica. The alien Predator that you’ve known and loved for the past 30 years has received a makeover. Director Shane Black has taken the reigns of the project and finally released another look at the sci-fi, horror-actioner for us to enjoy. The Predator, which stars Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, and others is a reinvigoration of the alien-vs-human premise, which will have its full rollout at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con next month.
For those who haven’t been following the nuances of this project, here’s the synopsis:
From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.
Written by Fred Dekker and Shane Black, The Predator looks like a thrilling ride against an overwhelming evil. The 20th Century Fox distributed film will hit theaters on Sept. 14, 2018, and also stars Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, and Yvonee Strahovski.
