Well, as discussion continues to happen around a possible presidential run from the media mogul, let us remember the time animated TV series The Boondocks predicted a 2020 Winfrey win back in 2006.

Titled "Return of the King" the episode was centered around Dr. Martin Luther King's assassination and how, instead of dying, he slips into a coma only to come to in the year 2000. In trying to adjust to how things have changed King becomes frustrated with how black people have treated the legacy of the civil rights struggle and ultimately offers a fiery and passionate speech that causes a political shift. This, in turn, leads to Winfrey winning the 2020 presidential election.

Although the episode got the election win wrong (the country will vote on its next president on November 10, 2020) it still predicted a moment which could possibly become reality.

According to CNN, two close friends of Winfrey's, who requested anonymity in order to speak freely, hinted that after making her speech, the OWN Network founder and CEO was urged to run for office in 2020. One of the sources said that these conversations date back several months.

Following that, CBS News Morning co-host Gayle King said that Winfrey was "intrigued by the idea" of running for president, but that her speech was not a "launching pad" for a presidential campaign.

"I don't think at this point she is actually considering it," King said, before adding, "I also know, after years of watching The Oprah Show, you always have the right to change your mind."
