Tekashi’s associates robbed Daniels and her assistant in midtown Manhattan, under the assumption they worked for Rap-A-Lot Records.

After months of deliberation, Tekashi 6ix9ine finally received his sentence on Wednesday morning. In the wake of the 24-month ruling, the victims of his crimes are speaking out to the media.

In April 2018, Nine Trey gang members robbed publicist Skyy Daniels and her assistant at gunpoint in Brooklyn. She provided an impact statement to Judge Paul Engelmayer. Though Tekashi was not present, it is believed that he arranged the robbery and also recorded the ordeal.

The ruling pleased Daniels, who believes Tekashi still owes her and her assistant money. “I did not want him to be able to come home for Christmas,” Daniels tearfully told TMZ, “because you know where I was last year for Christmas? I was in the hospital, suffering from a mental breakdown.”

Tekashi and his associates believed Daniels and her assistant were Rap-A-Lot Records associates. The robbery’s intended target was an associate of Rap-A-Lot Records’ J. Prince Jr, who earlier denied Tekashi entrance to a party in Texas and posted the video to Instagram. Police later obtained videos from phones belonging to 6ix9ine and his entourage that matched surveillance videos of the robbery.

In the statement, Daniels says she lost hard drives that contained client information, as well as an in-progress memoir. Additionally, she lost clients. “He owes me everything because he took everything away from me,” she said. “Yes, he owes me everything that he has. He owes all of us. He needs to be totally financially bankrupt and burdened like he’s done so many other people.”
