The Robinson’s from the ‘60s classic are back with Taylor Russell playing the brains and brawn of the intergalactic family.

Danger, danger, Netflix watchers!

A whole host of y’all might be too young to remember the sci-fi TV show Lost in Space, but no worries, as you’ll be able to get reacquainted with this when it airs on Netflix on April 13.

For those who don’t know, Lost in Space follows the adventures of The Robinson Family, who are space colonists who struggle to survive a strange and hostile universe after their ship is sabotaged and thrown off course.

The 10-episode drama / sci-fi series will be an experience that the whole family can enjoy together. Making it even better for black people and girls who want to be strong, smart and fearless — Taylor Russell (TNT’s Falling Skies) will star as the brains and brawn of the Robinson Family, Judy Robinson.

Taylor as Judy will surely be a great role model for young girls of color to see on screen.

Lost in Space also stars Max Jenkins, Mina Sundwall, Parker Posey and Molly Robinson and will take your breath away when it hits living rooms on April 13 on Netflix.
