Time to nerd out.
The final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premiered during halftime of ESPN’s Monday night NFL game between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets.
The Rise of Skywalker is the culmination of the latest Star Wars trilogy, which began with Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015. The trailer is very ominous, and hints at one final showdown between our hero Rey and Emperor Palpatine.
With the release of the latest trailer came the link to get tickets now. (Yes, the movie comes out December 20th. Yes, people are buying tickets now.)

The runtime for the movie was also revealed by AMC Theatres. The Rise of Skywalker will be 2 hours, 35 minutes, making it the longest Star Wars movie of all time. (The Last Jedi was 2 hours, 32 minutes.)
