Showtime at the Apollo is back

Get ready to see this show every week: starting on March 1st, Fox will host weekly episodes of Showtime at the Apollo.

Steve Harvey will continue to host the show. There is a new wrinkle, however: Adrienne Haughton (Adrienne Bailon) will be joining Steve as co-host.

Apollo’s Amateur Night — the long-running, live talent competition, now in its 82nd year — will be featured prominently on the show. Up-and-coming artists will have a chance to perform in front of one of the toughest audience in the world: the Apollo crowd. (To put things in perspective, Lauryn Hill once got booed off the Apollo stage.)

Steve and Adrienne will be joined by a number of prominent celebrity artists, as well. Ths list includes John Legend, Ashanti, Ja Rule, Busta Rhymes, T.I. featuring Meek Mill, Quavo, Anthony Anderson, Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan, Mike Epps, and more.
