With the Disney+ debut of new superhero series She-Hulk: Attorney At Law just days away, on Monday night (August 15) the show held its world premiere at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. The show’s lead actors Tatiana Maslany and Mark Ruffalo took over the purple carpet, with Maslany starring in She-Hulk as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer and the cousin to Bruce Banner.
Accidentally exposed to her cousin’s powerful blood, Walters takes on Hulk’s powers, transforming into a giant attorney at law with super strength. Those in attendance at the premiere got a first look at the Disney+ series, raving over the newest addition to the MCU.
Pamela Gores of The Direct applauded the show’s “courtroom antics,” adding that viewers were going to “love” Maslany. The critic also teased that the MCU would feel “super interconnected again with cameos and other info we get about the post-Endgame universe.”
ComicBook.com‘s Jenna Anderson is an avid fan of the show, saying that she’s “seen the first four She-Hulk episodes three times” and that they’re “everything I want them to be, and so much more.”
“The show is breezy, unabashedly weird, and wildly entertaining. This sets a new gold standard for what MCU shows are capable of,” she added.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law premieres on Disney+ on August 18. With nine episodes, the first season will conclude on October 18.
