Scarface Blasts Donald Trump for His Handling of the COVID-19 Pandemic

Scarface suffered kidney failure after contracting the virus in March.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to ravage the United States, the backlash towards the government grows stronger by the day. On Thursday Scarface, one of the nation's most high-profile victims of the virus spoke out.

After Donald Trump tweeted "We are going to WIN the 2020 Election," Scarface unleashed a multi-tweet screed at the president.

"Your stupidity has killed hundreds of thousands of people #SILLYMAN," he wrote. "Leave your mask at home. Anybody that casts a vote for you is a goddamn fool you are an absolute moron you have failed this country miserably the blood of 152 thousand Americans are on your hand you self centered lunatic you really think people like you??"

Back in March, Scarface revealed he'd contracted COVID-19. The virus caused his kidneys to fail and double bilateral pneumonia. He spoke on the experience with fellow Geto Boys member Willie D.

"I started off with pneumonia in both of my lungs," he explained. "Three, four days later, my kidneys failed. Three or four days after that, they tell me I can't move out the quarantine...I go to the ER. I get in there. I'm freezing to death. They stick these needles in my arm and started running me IVs. Through my IV, they bring antibiotics through my veins. Through my IV, I couldn’t take it. So, they run me three or four bags a day of that shit. I leave. I go in Sunday, Monday, I’m out Tuesday. That next Friday, I’m back in sitting [there] even sicker.”
