Available exclusively through MasterClass, the $90 course will have Jackson "share lessons about how to break down a script, leverage their voice, embody their characters, improve their auditioning skills, and collaborate in the industry. The course will include more than 20 video lessons, a downloadable workbook, and the chance for students to ask Jackson questions (which he'll answer selectively)," according to a report from Variety.

"In my MasterClass, I hope students learn that there's no limit to what they can make-believe," Jackson said in a statement. "By the end, they'll be able to walk into a room, present their best self, and be happy with the result."

"As one of the most successful actors of all time, Samuel L. Jackson has a tremendous amount to teach not only about the craft of acting, but also the practical side of building your acting career," David Rogier, MasterClass CEO and co-founder, said.

On Jackson's MasterClass page not much else is revealed about the course, although it does include the following introduction:

As a kid, Samuel L. Jackson stuttered so badly that he stopped talking for almost a year. Today he's one of the world's most successful actors, with roles in over 100 films, including Pulp Fiction  and The Avengers. For the first time, the Oscar nominated star teaches how he creates memorable characters, powerful performances, and a long-lasting career. Learn to master auditions, analyze scripts, and find the truth in every role you play.

A new Shaft film is in the works. Titled the Son of Shaft, the forthcoming movie will star Jessie T. Usher (Independence Day: Resurgence) as the progeny of detective John Shaft. Jackson is also negotiating a deal to reprise his role of Shaft that he played in the John Singleton-directed reboot of the action classic.
