Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have delivered their bundle of joy. On Thursday, it was reported that the Bajan singer gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, with Rocky by her side in Los Angeles.
“They have not left each other’s side,” the source said of the couple, according to Entertainment Tonight. “They are over the moon. She’s been looking forward to motherhood for a long time. This little boy is going to have the best baby fashion.”
The couple – who have been dating exclusively since 2020 – revealed earlier this year that they were expecting. Rihanna opened up about maternity fashion and motherhood in an April Vogue profile.
“I’m hoping that we were able to redefine what’s considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women,” she told Vogue. “My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that. This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”
The singer also revealed that she’s welcomed the idea of raising their child in her home country of Barbados.
“Rocky asked me recently if I had a dream place, where would it be? I told him home, Barbados. I always imagined it being that way. But realistically it probably won’t be,” she said.
Earlier this month, Rocky released new single ‘D.M.B.’ with artistic visuals that co-starred Rihanna.
The rapper last spoke about his relationship on Drink Champs, commending N.O.R.E.‘s marriage which was documented on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition.
“I could see the realness between both of y’all and shit like that and I could really tell, like, y’all been through some shit together, y’all been through a journey and it’s real. It’s not fabricated, it’s actually real,” Rocky said.“And that’s what I aspire to keep, just genuine real shit, just fuck what the outside world got going on, fuck what the outside world think and shit like that. It’s really about an understanding between two components, you and your significant other.”
