The docuseries will deal with more than just the tragic and senseless murder, as it will also tell the surrounding story of the roles race, politics, power, money and the American criminal justice system played. The six-part docuseries is based on the book Martin’s parents co-wrote: Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin. Jay-Z serves as the docuseries’ executive producer along with Trayvon’s parents—Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin.
