Pharrell Williams and Girls Trip screenwriter Tracy Oliver are teaming up to write the forthcoming horror thriller movie Survive the Night.

An adaptation of the YA book of the same name, the film will be written and directed by Oliver while Williams and his frequent creative partner Mimi Valdes are set to produce. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film “follows a group of female college students trapped inside an underground warehouse music festival on Halloween. They must fight for their lives against a mysterious attacker who hunts them down throughout the night.”

Aside from the movie being picked up by Warner Bros. nothing else has been revealed about the forthcoming film. Recently, Williams was named Chief Creative Officer of UK startup ROLI, where he will “develop revolutionary new musical instruments that are iconic, digitally connected, and accessible to all.” The partnership will be long-term, with Williams investing in the company and as well as serving as a co-owner.

“Music touches all of us, and for a long time I’ve been passionate about finding ways to share the power of music with more people,” Williams said in a statement. “When I met Roland and ROLI, I immediately felt we were working towards exactly the same goals, and so I’m super excited that we’re kicking off this partnership.”

“Our mission is to empower everyone to create music, and more broadly to empower people as creators. Pharrell is not just an extraordinary musician, he embodies creativity,” Roland Lamb, founder of ROLI, said.
