Pete Davidson is Reportedly in Trauma Therapy Due to Online Harassment From Ye

After Ye joked that Pete Davidson is “dead at 28” on Instagram, the actor-comedian has been in therapy due to Ye’s online bullying.

Pete Davidson is in therapy after nearly a year of online harassment from Ye. After a recent breakup with the rapper-mogul’s current wife Kim Kardashian, the rapper made a now-deleted Instagram post in a style akin to a New York Times obituary, with the caption “Skete Davidson Dead at Age 28.” Both Kardashian and Davidson’s teams alerted Instagram, to which the post was removed.

On Monday (August 8), it was revealed from a source that the Bodies Bodies Bodies actor “has been in trauma therapy in large part” due to Ye’s social media antics and decapitating a claymation figure of Davidson in the “Eazy” music video with The Game.

“The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help,” the insider said, per PEOPLE.

Although Davidson and Kardashian have ended their nine-month relationship, citing distance and hectic schedules, the source adds that he “has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she’s been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship.” “Moving forward he just wants to focus on his career,” the insider continued.

Kardashian filed for divorce from the Donda 2 rapper in February 2021 after six years of marriage. In March of this year, the socialite and The Kardashians star was legally declared single, with Davidson making frequent appearances on the Hulu series.
