You Won't Be Able To Unsee This 'Stankonia'-Inspired Biden And Kamala Shirt

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Outkast's Stankonia.

The cover art for Outkast's Stankoniais arguably one of rap's most iconic covers. It's effective in its simpleness: an image of Big Boi and Andre 3000 looking straight ahead against a black and white U.S. flag. Since the album's release 20 years ago (October 31, 2000), the cover art has been recreated by professional basketball players, and has inspired a very bizarre t-shirt supporting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

On Saturday, an image surfaced of a Stankonia-inspired shirt that swapped out Big Boi and Andre for Biden and Harris, respectively. Once you see the image, you can't unsee it, the weirdness of it all making it really, really hard to look away. But, at least they come in different colors.

Honestly, if you told me this was legit merch from Biden and Harris' campaign, I'd believe you. Following Harris' vice presidential debate against Mike Pence, Biden's online store added $10 "Truth Over Flies" fly swatters to its merch, a nod to the fly that became the debate's guest star after viewers noticed it hanging out on Pence's head. Turns out that the campaign sold out of its 35,000 fly swatters, according to The Hill.

"We saw the internet and our supporters sharing a viral moment online, so our digital team came together on the fly to show thatJoe Biden and Kamala Harris will always choose truth over lies, science over fiction, and unity over division," Biden's merchandise director Zach McNamara said about the fly swatters.

In other related news, video recently surfaced showing Andre's lost verse from Nas' "Cops Shot the Kid."
