Oscars 2023: 'Everything, Everywhere All At Once' Has the Most Nominations

Broadcasted live on Tuesday morning, actors Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams announced the nominations for the 2023 Oscars.

Nominations for the 2023 Oscars were announced on Tuesday morning (January 24), less than two months before the official 95th Academy Awards ceremony. The full slate of nominees were listed by actors Riz Ahmed (The Sound of Metal) and Allison Williams (M3GAN), with nods given to Angela Bassett for Best Supporting Actress (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), Brian Tyree Henry for Best Supporting Actor (Causeaway), Rihanna for Best Original Song ("Lift Me Up") and more.

Racking up the most nominations is A24 film Everything Everywhere All At Once, including a nod for Best Picture. The film's lead Michelle Yeoh is up for Best Actress, while co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Stephanie Hsu and Ke Huy Quan nominated in the Best Supporting categories, while directors The Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert) are in the Best Director category. The film is also has nominations in  Best Costume Design, Best Editing, Best Original Song ("This Is a Life"), Best Original Score and Best Original Screenplay. Yeoh’s nomination makes the Malaysian actress the first Academy Award best actress nominee to identify as Asian.

Additional top contenders for the Oscars include Elvis, Top Gun: Maverick, All Quiet on the Western Front, Tár, The Fabelmans and The Banshees of Inisherin.

Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 95th Academy Awards will broadcast live at 5 PM on Sunday, March 12 on ABC.
