On New Years Day, Noname reiterated that she was done with touring and focusing more on her book club.

Noname has confirmed she's still planning to release a follow up to 2018's Room 25. The project has no official release date at this time. Back in November, she publicly pondered leaving the music industry after its release. It is unclear whether she still plans to do so. However, she did clarify that for the moment, she's done with touring.

These moves coincide with both Noname's distaste with the current state of fandom and an increased interest in organizing her growing book club. On Twitter, she followed up the album announcement with a link to subscribe to the club.

Subscriptions start at just a dollar per month on Patreon. There are three monthly membership tiers--$1, $5, and $10. Membership includes 3-to-5-day notice before meetup RSVP's are posted online. The highest subscription tier even gives members a chance to submit their choices for monthly book choices.

On Saturday, January 4, regional chapters of the book club will host meet-up events in Los Angeles and Philadelphia. The events will be live-streamed for members unable to make it. Additionally, the book club will host events in Chicago and Washington, DC on the following Sunday from 1 PM to 3 PM.
